Very good report.  Love the ratings...........

Do they have some sort of "premium" level that would get you closer to the beach.

As far as I know, there are two ways to get ocean front rooms.

1. Pay for an ocean front room
               -or-
2. Join the Royal Elite Club (time share).

Dan & Steph,
You guys write great trip reports. We stayed at the Sandos Feb 2009, the beaches needed an upgrade. Hopefully the hurricanes will leave the beaches alone. Thanks for the time you put in composing the report, brought back some good memories from our vacation. These reports give me something to look forward to during these cold Minnesota winters (expecting 8-10 inches today).
Heading to Nuevo Vallarta in two weeks.
Thanks again
Randy

Thanks Randy! Congrats on your up forth coming trip. Where are staying in Nuevo Vallarta? We are going to the Riu Palace Pacifico in April. Have a great trip!

Dan,
We went cheap this year, we are staying just down the beach at the RIU Jalisco.
Leaving in 12 days, supposed to get up to 14 inches of snow today in the Minneapolis area.

And Ocean Front rooms would be in the oldest section I believe 10+ years old.

Dan, You may see us in Oklahoma! We are holding our vacation right now because we have a feeling that our Lady Cajuns may be spending the end of the year tournament in Oklahoma City. They have what may be the top three pitchers in the nation. This just might be the year they win it all! If they go to Oklahoma City we will be there to support them.

If softball season does not go well PF 10 sounds good!
