Tom's new lungs!

Prayer requests for Tom.? He coded Monday morning and is now on a respirator. Been a tough week, especially today. Tried 3 times to get him off but he wasn't ready and more low blood pressure problems tonight. we'll take all the prayers you can send our way!

It's been a tough 26 days. Tom has coded 3 timesin 10 days and they miraculously bring him back. He's been on a vent for the past 10 days and is now on diaylsis. The lungs are doing fine, it's just the rest of him: kidneys, liver and abdominal issues, blood pressures. My 129# husband has gained 60#'s due to all the fluids they give him to control blood pressure. Please keep us in your prayers. This hospital saved my 16 year old 12 years ago after a stroke. We were here for 52 days. I believe they can save my husband as well. As for me, they'll have to put me in a quite little home for awhile when this is over, better yet, a Mexican beach.  You can view my carepages, I post daily.   www.carepages.com   Type in     tomsnewlungs

Your word "believe" is what is so important.  Your faith in what they are doing to help him and in yourselves.  Know you must be running on andreline and hope you are taking care of yourself as you continue to take care of Tom.  We "believe" with you and will continue to pray!

I've been following "tom's new lungs" on their care pages.  He's having a really rough time.  GM has been a pillar of strength and I'm sure that by the time all is said and done, she will be certified as a doctor as well.  Hope you will all continue to pray for them both!
