Cusp.......We have been to PC twice. The beach is magnficent. Think miles of the beach outside of the Barcelo Maya Caribe. We stayed at the Riu Bambu....it was horrid, but it was also in 2006. I think it is the Walmart of resorts in PC. We also stayed at the Majestic Colonial, and loved it there. Also, I just helped my parents select the Majestic Elegance, for their 50th, and they were generally very pleased. Dad said he would not return, as the food was not as good as he thought it was going to be, whatever that means. He said the food was good, but he was tired of my "eating rules for Punta Cana". Smile

He wants to try Mexico on their next big adventure. I don't know when that will be.

Imho....there is a big difference between PC and the Riviera Maya. I favor the Maya. But I do wish I could put Bavaro beach in the Riviera Maya.
