So sorry to hear of Sandi's passing.

I've also never met her, but have read many, many trip reports of hers.

My sincere condolences to the entire family

My heart is deeply saddened with Sandi's loss.  Chris please know your mom touched so many, many lives.  I shall never forget her or your family.

I, too, have sadly never had the pleasure of meeting Sandi.  I have so enjoyed reading her trip reports and posts.  My heart goes out to her family.

So shocked to see the news of Sandi's passing, I too did not have the pleasue of meeting her in person but through the boards felt as thought i knew her, no doubt she was a special person who loved her family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this very difficult time.

I would like to add my voice to all of the above - I never met her either, but followed her trip reports etc, she seemed like a wonderful person, and I regret never having met her or your family. What a horrible shock to see this news. I know she was extremely proud of you, Chris. Now there is another angel watching over us.

Please accept my most sincere condolences, and know there is a heart in Montreal sending prayers and strength your way.

What an absolute shock when I read this.  I knew Sandi had had medical problems in the past but thought everything was okay.  I had never met her personally either but always enjoyed visiting with her here.  I am so very sorry, and will be praying for the family.  She seemed like a super lady and was always so proud of her sons.

Hi Chris,

I have corresponded with your Mother since about 2004.   I am another Mexico fan.    We shared the same passion for Mexico.

I don't always follow the boards closely because when I get home from Mexico I am too depressed to keep up.  That being said, I am three months in remiss of acknowledging your loss (because I haven't been on the boards).  I hope sincerely that you and your Dad are as well as is possible.

The last time I read some of your Mom's posts was in the fall of 2008 (which seems like yesterday).   Her posts were of you and how proud she was of your military career.   She was a VERY proud Mom.. you know that.

I have to be honest, when I read about her passing today I was (am) devastated.   She was always the picture of happiness.

I wish you the best and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

How is your Dad doing?

All My Best,

Mary Jane
