Cruise part two
« on: March 27, 2007, 10:43:14 AM »

Good morning!  Cloudy Day At Grand Turks

There is One long pier that two ships at a time can occupy. At the end of the peir is a Cruise ship city.  Shops OF all kinds, Duty free, Margaritaville, a pool and the beach. There is not much else to do on the island.

We ship out to the private Island of Half Moon Cay. The weather was off and on and my brother in law decided to take matters into his own hands.  He swam out into the ocean and scrified his swim suit to the sun god.

This caught on quickly and everytime the subn went in People swam into the ocean and made the sacrifice!  (Did I mention they sold alcohol on shore?)

It seemed to work too!

Funny after that day  parents and their kids steared clear of  us.

Back on board we roasted and toasted.
Beth and her sister Julie

Todd on the left was responsible for the sunshine!

Back to the Cubby hole, showered and dressed for the 8:30 seating. Filet Mignon with red peppercorn sauce..mmmm

Our Waiter Sasha from Russia.  Oh, and Jay Leno was our Maitre D

The rest of the night is a blurr.  But I have these pictures.

Beth & I

Sister in law and I

2:00 am...grab a couple slices of pizza and off to bed.  Tomorrow Nassau.

Thanks for sharing your trip! Nice job on the pics! The shot of Atlantis brings back memories. Nice place but very expensive!

I work for orthodontists and we had our meeting at Atlantis this past November.  I would never pay to go there (they paid for their whole staff), it can not hold a candle to my trips to Mexico.  I did post our trip to Atlantis on my website robino.info , but we are headed to Le Blanc at the end of April and I can tell you it is going to put Atlantis to shame.
